Paulsen: Modernizing the Tax Code to Encourage Entrepreneurship is a Priority May 25, 2017
Washington, D.C.– In a House Ways and Means Committee hearing with Treasury Steven Mnuchin, Congressman Paulsen (MN-03) spoke on the importance of tax reform to encourage entrepreneurs and startups to help grow the economy: “Tax policy tends to impact their business model in a different way than most industries that we speak about in tax reform conversations,” said Congressman Paulsen. “These entrepreneurs are clearly driving the future of the American economy, and their success has a huge impact on our economic competitiveness. That’s why I’ve made modernizing the tax code to encourage entrepreneurship a priority.”
